Necessary storage
The vnle_consent cookie stores your categories, choice date and consent version for 180 days. On vnle.app it also applies to subdomains such as wiki.vnle.app. A local copy notifies other open tabs of changes. Independent preview domains each keep their own choices.
Your manually selected language is stored in the necessary vnle_language cookie for 180 days and shared with the wiki on vnle.app. Without a saved choice, the entry page uses an available browser language or falls back to English.
Statistics: Google Analytics
Only with Statistics enabled do we load Google tag G-7R7XCC06FG. The EU provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics processes information such as page views, device and browser details, and online identifiers. Your IP address is transmitted when connecting to Google. Analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_7R7XCC06FG are configured for 180 days. Advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled in this integration.
Before consent the Google tag does not load, and no consentless analytics pings are sent. Processing in third countries, including the United States, may occur. Read the Google Privacy Policy. The operator must complete the final Analytics account retention and contractual transfer information before public launch.
Marketing
No advertising pixels are currently integrated. This category is prepared but does not activate a marketing service or advertising features in Google Analytics.
External content: YouTube
A player from youtube-nocookie.com loads only when you allow External content and start a video. The provider is Google Ireland Limited. Your IP address, device information and video interactions may be processed and transferred to third countries. Privacy-enhanced mode does not mean no data is transferred. Withdrawing consent removes active video embeds. A normal link to another website is not an embed; that website's privacy rules apply after you open it.
Contact form and email: Resend
When you contact us, we process your name, email address, subject, message and any image you choose to attach to handle your request. The optional image may be a PNG, JPG or WebP file up to 2 MB. Your confirmed consent is included with the message. The form sends these details over an encrypted connection to our website, which forwards them server-side through Resend. Simply visiting a page does not connect your browser to Resend. Sending a message is part of the contact function you request, independently of optional cookie categories.
Resend is provided by Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA. It processes your message and the sender and recipient information required for delivery. Processing in the United States may occur. Resend provides a data processing agreement with Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers. See the Resend Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement. The intended free plan retains delivery data at Resend for 30 days.
Your message is delivered to our Gmail inbox at Google; email sent directly to our address is also processed there. See the Google Privacy Policy. We do not use your enquiry for newsletters or advertising. We delete correspondence when it is no longer needed to handle the request or follow-up questions, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
For processing your contact form details and optional image, we ask for your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw it at any time for future processing by emailing the address above. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Direct email enquiries relating to a contract are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; other direct email enquiries are processed based on our legitimate interest in responding under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Technical request checks protect the contact function against misuse.
Website and hosting
This website and the Wiki use Cloudflare Pages, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare processes necessary connection data, including IP address, request time, requested page, and browser and device information, to deliver and secure the service. Processing outside the EU may occur. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, reliable website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum. Fonts, images and the playable example are served by the website itself.
Legal bases and your rights
Optional analytics and external embeds rely on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, for storage or access on your device, Section 25(1) TDDDG. Necessary storage of your privacy choices respects your decision under Section 25(2) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time for future processing.
Subject to applicable legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, including the authority where you habitually reside or the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany.
